Owaisi demands further extension of SIR deadline

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has demanded a further extension of the deadline for Scheduled Individual Reconciliation (SIR), citing administrative errors in the verification process.
Owaisi highlighted significant discrepancies in records, noting that many individuals marked as shifted remain at the same location, while several categorised as deceased are still alive. He contended these errors undermine the credibility of the ongoing verification drive.
The demand comes as the verification process continues to face scrutiny over data accuracy and implementation challenges across affected communities.
