Owaisi questions SP-BJP AI video row, says focus should be on real issues

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has questioned the ongoing AI video dispute between Samajwadi Party and BJP ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Both parties have been using AI-generated content to attack each other on social media.
Owaisi said political parties should discuss real issues affecting people instead of focusing on artificial media. He referred to the Muzaffarnagar incident, subsequent riots, mosque demolitions, cemetery removals, and alleged fake encounters as matters requiring attention. He also cited basic problems like electricity supply as pressing concerns.
Owaisi remarked that AI has become a convenient tool for both sides to divert public attention from substantive governance issues. He stressed that discussions on matters directly affecting human life are more important than engaging in political battles over synthetic videos.
