Pakistan replaces Agha as T20I captain ahead of Sri Lanka series

Pakistan has made a change in its T20 International captaincy ahead of the upcoming series against Sri Lanka. Agha has been removed from the position, though selectors did not provide an official reason for the decision.

The Pakistan Cricket Board's selectors indicated they are focused on building the squad with an eye toward the T20 World Cup 2028, which will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand. The move appears part of a broader restructuring of the team's leadership for the tournament cycle ahead.
