Parliamentary panel urges NTA to strengthen question banks and set papers closer to exam dates

A parliamentary panel has advised the National Testing Agency (NTA) to strengthen its question bank infrastructure and revise its timeline for setting examination papers. The recommendations aim to improve the quality and security of competitive examinations conducted by the agency.
The panel suggested that NTA should allocate resources toward building more comprehensive question banks to ensure better test design and reduce the risk of paper leaks or compromises. Additionally, the panel recommended that question papers be prepared closer to the actual examination date rather than significantly in advance.
These suggestions come as part of ongoing parliamentary oversight of NTA's examination processes and reflect concerns about maintaining the integrity and reliability of national-level competitive tests.
