PIL challenges Arunachal Pradesh recruitment norms on PRC and tribal language requirements

A public interest litigation has challenged Arunachal Pradesh's newly introduced recruitment rules that mandate Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) status, APST eligibility, and indigenous tribal language proficiency for government positions.
The high court has sought a response from the state government on the petition, which questions whether these requirements are constitutional and whether they unduly restrict employment opportunities beyond the state's tribal communities.
