PISA 2025 Results Show Widespread AI Use Among 15-Year-Olds in Schools

The latest PISA 2025 results highlight that artificial intelligence adoption among teenagers is far more prevalent than previously thought. Across OECD countries, only 14% of students reported never or almost never using AI chatbots for school-related tasks, indicating that 86% of the surveyed cohort engages with AI tools regularly.
These findings underscore the rapid integration of AI into educational practices among 15-year-olds worldwide. The data raises important questions about how this technology is reshaping learning outcomes, student competency development, and the role of traditional teaching methods in contemporary classrooms.
