Modi announces free online coaching for competitive exams, talent hunt for youth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a new initiative offering free online coaching for competitive exams alongside a talent hunt programme, targeting younger generations. The announcement comes weeks after the NEET-related protests at Jantar Mantar escalated into a nationwide movement, which led to the resignation of former education minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The scheme aims to provide accessible exam preparation resources to youth across the country, part of broader efforts to democratize competitive exam coaching.
