PM Modi Joins Bhajan Clubbing Trend in Delhi, Dances to Devotional Music

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a bhajan clubbing event in New Delhi on Friday, September 25, marking the 110th birth anniversary of Deendayal Upadhyay at a park opposite the BJP headquarters. Modi was seen seated in the front row, clapping and playing a tambourine-like instrument during the gathering.
Bhajan clubbing is an emerging cultural trend that blends traditional devotional music with the energy of modern music gatherings. Participants sing, dance and connect over bhajans and kirtans in concert-like settings, often with contemporary musical arrangements. The concept has gained traction among young people, particularly on social media platforms.
Modi later shared a video of the event on social media, describing it as "Spectacular!" The trend represents devotional music adapted to contemporary settings, designed as inclusive community experiences rather than formal religious ceremonies.
