Punjab CM's Office Officials Under CBI Scrutiny Over Corruption Allegations

A Public Interest Litigation has brought scrutiny upon officials in Punjab Chief Minister Mann's office over corruption allegations. The petition contends that the Enforcement Directorate investigated claims involving Nitin Gohal, who allegedly acted as an intermediary between people seeking government favours and Rajbir Ghuman, the CM's Officer on Special Duty.
The High Court has expressed dissatisfaction with the police's response to the ED's graft claims. The matter has now drawn CBI attention, intensifying the investigation into the alleged misconduct within the Chief Minister's Office.
