New Punjab Congress Chief Pargat Singh Says Party Has No Standing Beyond Punjab

Pargat Singh, recently named as the new chief of the Punjab Congress unit, has stated that the party lacks presence or relevance outside Punjab and the Congress framework. His remarks reflect an acknowledgment of the party's regional limitation and the need to concentrate efforts within the state.

Singh's appointment marks a leadership transition within the Punjab Congress, a key unit of the national party in one of India's politically significant states.
