Punjab Police denies advisory on uniform restrictions for officers

Punjab Police has denied reports that it issued an advisory directing personnel to avoid wearing uniforms outside police stations. Opposition leaders had claimed the force had issued such guidance to its officers.

The denial comes amid claims from several opposition figures that the advisory was circulated among police personnel. Punjab Police clarified that no such directive has been issued to restrict uniform wear beyond station premises.
