Quad exploring leaders' summit on Asean Summit margins

Quad member states are exploring the possibility of holding a leaders' summit on the margins of the upcoming Asean Summit in the Philippines next month, according to sources familiar with the discussions.
The summit has been delayed by more than a year, and organizing it alongside the regional gathering could provide a convenient platform for the four nations to convene.
The Quad, comprising India, Australia, Japan, and the United States, has been seeking an appropriate venue and timing for the high-level meeting to discuss regional and strategic issues of mutual concern.
