Rachin Ravindra's Participation In India T20I Series In Doubt After Shoulder Dislocation

New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra's availability for the upcoming five-match T20I series against India has been thrown into doubt after he dislocated his right shoulder during a promotional shoot in Auckland on Wednesday. The injury occurred while he was attempting a diving catch during filming and landed awkwardly on a safety mat.
Medical specialists assessed the injury on Friday and found no major structural damage. However, his return to competitive action will depend on how he responds to rehabilitation over the coming weeks. New Zealand Cricket said the activities were pre-agreed with appropriate safety measures in place, calling it a freak accident. The T20I series is scheduled to begin on October 22, with New Zealand to announce its squad next week.
