Rahul Gandhi Questions EC, Says Opposition MPs Stopped From Meeting Chief Election Commissioner

Opposition MPs from the INDIA bloc staged a protest in Delhi, marching from Parliament Street towards the Election Commission headquarters. The march was halted by police, preventing the MPs from meeting Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and other officials.
Rahul Gandhi questioned the restrictions, stating that elected representatives should have the right to meet poll panel officials. "Lok Sabha MPs were here. We wanted to meet the CEC and his subordinates. Police stopped us," the Congress leader said, challenging the rationale behind denying MPs access to the Commission.
