Rahul Gandhi's Chhatron Ki Goonj website exposes mobile numbers, personal data of lakhs of students

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched the 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' campaign in June to address student concerns including exam paper leaks, high education costs, and lack of opportunities. Students were asked to register on a website hosted at rahulgandhi.in to attend events and join the movement.

Gandhi personally promoted the registration through social media posts and videos, including a QR code directing students to the form. Students were required to provide names, mobile numbers, gender, and other personal information.

According to reports, the website has exposed the mobile numbers and personal details of hundreds of thousands of students without adequate security measures in place.
