Rahul Gandhi Attacks Government Over Telegram Ban Ahead of NEET Re-exam

The central government has temporarily banned messaging app Telegram ahead of the nationwide NEET re-examination. On Wednesday, 17 June, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi attacked the government over the ban, telling Prime Minister Modi to drop pretences and target mafia instead of students.

Rahul's sister and MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra supported his stance, saying he spoke correctly. She noted that the education system and examination framework require several corrections and suggested a nationwide campaign against the government may follow soon.
