Our Constitution Has Been Destroyed, Says Rahul Gandhi on EC Row

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has criticised the Election Commission and raised concerns over the integrity of Indian elections and institutional functioning. He stated that the Constitution has been undermined and no longer serves its intended purpose.

"Our Constitution has been destroyed. It no longer holds any power or functions as it should. If our Constitution has been destroyed, our laws are illegal, and if our laws are illegal, our institutions are meaningless," Gandhi said.

His comments come as a political row continues over alleged irregularities in electoral rolls. The Election Commission has rejected claims of any wrongdoing in the matter.
