BCCI appoints ex-national selectors to pick Bihar's teams
The BCCI has constituted two three-member selection committees for Bihar to pick its senior and junior squads. Former India selectors Harvinder Singh and Sridharan Sharath form part of the senior panel tasked with selecting the Ranji Trophy team. Bihar, recently promoted to the Elite Group, will begin its Ranji Trophy campaign against Uttar Pradesh on October 11.
A separate committee has been formed to oversee the selection of players for Under-16, Under-19, and Under-23 age-group teams in the state. The appointment of experienced former national selectors underscores the BCCI's commitment to strengthening Bihar's cricket infrastructure following its elevation to the Elite Group.
