NEET Re-Exam: Telegram Banned Ahead of the Re-Test; Rahul Gandhi Lashes Out at the Government

The central government has imposed a temporary ban on the social media app Telegram ahead of the NEET re-exam. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has reacted strongly, opposing this decision.

Rahul Gandhi said that a Telegram ban is not a solution to stopping paper leaks. Raising questions on the social media platform X, he pointed out that millions of students have for years used Telegram for notes, test series and exam preparation. He called the government's move equivalent to locking the victim's house instead of catching the thief.
