Target paper leak networks, not students: Rahul Gandhi opposes PM's Telegram ban

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has opposed the Centre's decision to restrict access to messaging app Telegram, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to focus on tackling the paper leak mafia instead of curbing platforms used by students.
The Centre temporarily blocked Telegram access in India ahead of the June 21 NEET-UG re-examination. Existing users have been unable to access the app following the restriction.
Gandhi's remarks highlight opposition concerns over the government's approach to combating exam-related leaks, with the Congress leader suggesting stricter action against those responsible for paper leaks rather than imposing broad restrictions on digital platforms.
