Railway Ministry Dismisses Rahul Gandhi's Claim of Student Death at Patliputra Station

The Ministry of Railways on Wednesday rejected claims that a student died aboard a crowded train at Patliputra Railway Station. The denial followed a viral video showing a young man appearing unwell inside an overcrowded train, which was shared by Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, who linked it to students travelling for a recruitment examination in Bihar.

The ministry stated it had checked all available records and found no such incident at the station. "Reports in some media and statement of LoP Shri Rahul Gandhi claiming the death of a student on board a train at Patliputra Station are false," the Railways said, adding that the person in the video appears to be experiencing a medical condition or fatigue.
