Rajnath Singh accuses Congress of conspiracy over anti-CEC protests

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has accused the Congress party of orchestrating protests against the Chief Election Commissioner as part of a bid to seize power. Singh contended that the party's actions represent what he termed the fourth unpardonable crime, asserting it amounts to an assault on the Constitution, constitutional values, and democratic institutions.
The remarks come amid ongoing tensions between the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress over governance and electoral matters. Singh's statement reflects the government's stance against what it characterizes as destabilizing political conduct by opposition parties.
The Congress has been vocal in its criticism of various governmental policies and institutional functioning, a position the ruling coalition views as undermining institutional credibility during a sensitive electoral period.
