Rajnath Singh emphasises self-reliance in aerospace as HAL marks 2,000th engine delivery

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the significance of self-reliance in India's aerospace sector on the occasion of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) delivering its 2,000th aero-engine. Singh emphasised the need for the country to reduce dependence on foreign technology and strengthen domestic manufacturing capabilities.

HAL's milestone delivery represents a major achievement in India's defence production infrastructure and aligns with the government's broader Make in India initiative aimed at boosting indigenous defence manufacturing.
