Ranchi Court Grants Bail to Accused in Ink Attack on AISA President Neha Bora

A Ranchi court granted bail to Amar Nath Pandey, who allegedly threw ink at All India Students' Association (AISA) national president Neha Bora during a protest march on August 7. Pandey was detained immediately after the incident and arrested later.
Following the attack, Bora demanded accountability from the administration over the security breach. She questioned how a suspect penetrated police cordons to target female demonstrators during the public rally and called for a formal inquiry into the matter.
Bora identified the accused as Amar Nath Pandey, 26, a resident of Hazaribagh and an RSS member, and criticised the deployed security personnel for the oversight that allowed him to reach the protest area.
