Rao Inderjit seeks probe into Gurugram waterlogging, alleges no drain maintenance in 7 years

Congress leader Rao Inderjit has called for an inquiry into Gurugram's waterlogging issues, claiming no funds were allocated for drain cleaning over seven years. In a letter to Chief Minister Saini dated September 8, Rao cited evidence that hundreds of notices issued to builders for blocking drains went unenforced. He pointed to alleged inaction by municipal authorities despite repeated complaints about drainage infrastructure failures. The named official has denied involvement in the matter.
