RBI to Make Account Aggregators Interoperable, Integrate Demat and Deposits

The Reserve Bank of India will implement interoperability across Account Aggregators, allowing seamless data sharing among different platforms. Additionally, bank deposit information will be integrated into Consolidated Account Statements, providing a unified view of financial holdings.
These changes are scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2026. The move aims to enhance financial transparency and simplify account management for retail investors and depositors across multiple institutions.
