Former Home Secretary RK Singh accuses CEC of illegalities, calls for Opposition boycott

Former Union Home Secretary RK Singh has accused the Chief Election Commissioner of committing illegalities and called for Opposition parties to unite to protect democracy. Singh demanded the resignation of the CEC and Election Commissioners, stating this was necessary to safeguard democratic institutions.
Speaking on the issue, Singh urged Opposition parties to refrain from participating in elections until the electoral leadership steps down. He framed the call as a broader effort to preserve democratic values and address what he termed systemic irregularities in electoral management.
