Rohit Sharma's Pull Shot Mastery Continues at 39

Mumbai: Star Indian opener Rohit Sharma's mastery of the pull shot remains unmatched even as he becomes India's oldest ODI player. During the second ODI against Afghanistan at Lucknow's Ekana Stadium, Rohit demonstrated his trademark stroke by hammering consecutive sixes off an Afghanistan bowler during his 48-run innings.
Since 2011, Rohit has accumulated 1,513 runs through pull shots against pace bowlers, hitting 108 sixes—the highest among all batters. Virat Kohli ranks second with 1,156 runs and 24 sixes, while Australia's David Warner has 996 runs and 30 sixes. The significant gap underscores Rohit's unparalleled ability to convert short deliveries into scoring opportunities.
