Young people should engage with dharma, says RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

Addressing a gathering in Ujjain on Friday, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat expressed satisfaction that young people are discussing dharma, noting that such conversations are rare among Gen Z today.
Bhagwat said dharma is often mistakenly viewed as a subject for the elderly, with texts like the Gita and Ramayana considered retirement reading. However, he argued that dharma is fundamental to existence from birth to death and governs all aspects of life, whether one believes in it or not.
Bhagwat stated that dharma has existed since the creation of the universe and will endure. He emphasized that relationships and bonds predate and will outlast individuals, and that dharma is the source of life's happiness and liberation. He cautioned against abandoning dharma under any circumstances.
