Casteism and untouchability are a stigma on Hindu society, says RSS general secretary

RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale addressed a gathering of RSS volunteers from five districts in Bhopal on Sunday, saying that birth-based discrimination has no place in Hindu culture. He described casteism and untouchability as a stigma on Hindu society that must be eradicated through individual conduct rather than laws alone.
Hostabale emphasised that viewing oneself as separate based on caste, sect, language, or region weakens the organisation's strength. He called for unity across all communities, stating that societal challenges belong to everyone. He urged people to assemble daily in their localities irrespective of caste and creed to strengthen both society and Hindu consciousness.
