Sai Sudharsan eyes Test comeback at No. 3 after toe injury sidelines him

A toe injury forced Sai Sudharsan to sit out India's two-Test series in Sri Lanka, disrupting his bid for the middle-order slot. In his absence, left-handed batter Devdutt Padikkal seized the opportunity, scoring consecutive centuries to stake his own claim for the No. 3 position.

Sudharsan is now preparing for a return to contention, ready to put in the required effort to regain his spot in India's Test batting lineup.
