Supreme Court Collegium recommends transfer of two Odisha High Court judges

The Supreme Court Collegium, at its meeting on 6 August 2026, has recommended the transfer of two judges of the Odisha High Court. Justice Manash Ranjan Pathak, whose parent court is Gauhati High Court, will be transferred to the Gujarat High Court. Justice Krushna Ram Mohapatra has been recommended for transfer to the Chhattisgarh High Court.

Justice Pathak joined the Odisha High Court on transfer from Gauhati High Court on 21 July 2025. The transfers will take effect upon acceptance and issuance of the notification by the competent authority.
