SC Special Bench Directs NHAI to Set Up Cattle Shelters Nationwide

A special bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Vikram Nath has directed the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to establish shelter homes for stray cattle across the country. The directive came in response to a plea filed by the NHAI regarding the issue of stray cattle on national highways.
