Supreme Court stays High Court order against Noida DM in NSA detention case

The Supreme Court has stayed a High Court order directing recovery of ₹5 lakh from the Noida District Magistrate in connection with a National Security Act detention case. Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for Medha Roopam, argued that such administrative decisions undergo a multi-tiered review process and his client should not be singled out for penalty.
