Amit Mishra backs Gambhir despite India's poor Test run

Cricketer Amit Mishra has defended India head coach Gautam Gambhir despite the team's struggling performance in Test cricket. Since Gambhir's appointment, India have played six Test series and won only two—against Bangladesh and West Indies at home.

The period has seen India suffer significant setbacks, including ten defeats and two home clean sweeps in the format. Despite the poor record, Mishra has called for patience with the new coaching setup, suggesting more time is needed for improvements.
