Vijayadashami route march: Kharge asks RSS to seek formal permission

Congress president Kharge has asked the RSS to seek formal permission for its Vijayadashami route march.

The Home Minister took to X to say that merely 'informing' the Home Department, or asking it to 'cooperate' or 'make necessary arrangements', does not amount to obtaining permission for the march.

The remarks clarify the distinction between notifying authorities and securing their approval for the event.
