Only 3 of Sena UBT's 9 Lok Sabha MPs attend party meeting in Delhi

Six of Shiv Sena (UBT)'s nine Lok Sabha MPs have reportedly switched sides to the Eknath Shinde-led faction, skipping a party meeting in Delhi after writing to the Speaker to form a separate group. Only three MPs turned up for the gathering.

The rebel MPs cited ideological differences and apprehension over a potential merger with Congress as reasons for their defection. They are expected to formally join the Shinde camp next week.
