Seven dead, many injured in Mumbai landslip

A landslip in Mumbai resulted in seven deaths and several injuries after soil and debris from a hillside collapsed onto two to three nearby houses, according to BMC Mayor Ritu Tawde.

Rescue and relief operations were initiated at the site. The exact cause of the collapse and the total number of injured are yet to be confirmed by authorities.
