Seven Oktoberfest celebrations to enjoy in Mumbai this season

Munich's 191-year-old Oktoberfest has inspired celebrations across India, with Mumbai venues embracing the German festival tradition. Several establishments are hosting special Oktoberfest events featuring craft beers, German cuisine, and festive atmospheres.

Border Bean Barbecue in Lower Parel is collaborating with artisanal meat brand The Daily Cut and 2 Down Beer Co. for an October 4 event. Someplace Else at BKC runs a German-inspired menu from September 19 to October 4, while Geoffrey's at Hotel Marine Plaza offers Oktoberfest celebrations until October 4. Le Café in Chembur has extended its Mugtober Fest through November 3.

These venues are capitalising on the growing craft beer culture in India and the appeal of German-style food and beverages among Mumbai's dining scene.
