Shiv Sena (UBT) faces internal split as defections strengthen BJP

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) is experiencing internal turmoil and faces the prospect of a significant split. This development comes days after 20 TMC parliamentarians defected and joined the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.

The expected divisions within the party could prove advantageous to the BJP's position in Parliament. The series of defections signals growing pressure on opposition alliances as NDA consolidates its support.
