Mumbai's 1-Inch Ganesha Idol Inside Shivling Goes Viral During Ganesh Chaturthi

A unique Ganpati pandal in Malad, known as Dhanjiwadi Cha Dhanraj, is drawing crowds during Ganesh Chaturthi for housing what is being described as Mumbai's smallest Ganesha idol. Measuring just one inch, the miniature Bappa is a stark contrast to the towering and elaborate idols typically seen across the city.
The pandal's creative setup features a larger decorated Ganesha idol first, but the real attraction lies nearby—a Shivling with a tiny opening through which devotees can spot the miniature idol standing on Nandi. The setting recreates the atmosphere of Kailash Parvat with cotton-based decorations, blending elements associated with Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha.
Due to its diminutive size, visitors have been using digital zoom on their phones to catch a glimpse of the tiny Bappa, which has since gone viral on social media.
