SIT Intensifies Probe Into Alleged Misuse of Offerings at Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has intensified its investigation into the alleged misappropriation of offerings at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The probe has gathered pace ahead of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's scheduled visit to the city on Friday. The district administration has advised senior temple functionary Champat Rai to refrain from attending certain official proceedings during the investigation.
Investigators are examining financial records, security arrangements and transaction details to establish accountability and identify any lapses in the management of temple donations. The SIT has been questioning individuals linked to the alleged misuse of offerings. Officials have stated that the inquiry is being conducted in a fair and transparent manner, with authorities focused on preserving public confidence in the administration of one of the country's most significant religious institutions.
