Sonam Wangchuk backs CJP stir in Delhi, says he cannot attend due to winter preparations

Ladakh-based activist Sonam Wangchuk has expressed support for the Common Impulse Project (CJP) movement's planned October 10 protest in Delhi, but said he will not be able to attend personally.
Wangchuk cited ongoing winter preparation work in Ladakh as the reason for his absence. Despite not being present at the demonstration, he voiced hope that the movement would stay true to its ideals.
"Hope we won't let Bapu down," Wangchuk said in his statement, invoking Gandhi's legacy as a reference point for non-violent activism. His backing underscores broader support among Ladakh's civil society for the CJP's agenda, even as logistical constraints prevent his physical participation in the Delhi event.
