South Africa holds record for highest successful T20I chase

South Africa holds the record for the highest successful run chase in T20 Internationals. The feat was achieved when South Africa chased down a target of 259 runs against West Indies in a match played in Centurion in 2023.

This chase demonstrates the aggressive batting prowess displayed by modern T20 cricket teams. The record highlights how evolving batting techniques and aggressive shot-making have pushed the boundaries of what is considered achievable in the shortest format of international cricket.
