DMK chief Stalin accuses TVK of buying MLAs to prop up government

DMK president M.K. Stalin has accused the ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) of attempting to destabilise opposition parties by purchasing MLAs to shore up its government, according to his campaign statements for the Madurantakam and Dharapuram byelections.
Stalin made the allegations while campaigning in Tamil Nadu, claiming the ruling party was resorting to undemocratic practices to maintain its political position.
The remarks come as bypolls prepare to take place in the two constituencies, with both the DMK and TVK mobilising for electoral contests.
