Steve Smith uncertain about playing in 2027 Ashes series

Steve Smith has indicated uncertainty over whether he will feature in the 2027 Ashes series in England. The Australian batter, ranked No. 2 in ICC Test rankings, said he evaluates his Test career after each series to decide on future involvement.

While winning an Ashes series in England remains a significant goal for Smith, his current priority is competing for Australia at the 2028 Olympics. To prepare for this, Smith is actively participating in T20 cricket to sharpen his skills.
