Kharge slams electoral roll revision as 'Frankenstein Monster', says it disenfranchises Indians

Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge has criticised the Election Commission's electoral roll revision, calling it a misguided 'Frankenstein Monster' that harms voters. He alleged the process amounts to a method of disenfranchising Indians.
The electoral roll revision has drawn scrutiny from both political and legal quarters over its verification practices. High-profile figures, including former Deputy PM Lal Krishna Advani and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, have reportedly received notices during the revision.
The Election Commission is scheduled to release the final electoral roll on November 4, amid ongoing criticism of the revision methodology.
