Supreme Court says 'too much heat' over deleted CAPF contempt pleas

The Supreme Court on Tuesday remarked that "too much heat" was generated over the deletion of contempt pleas concerning IPS deputation issues within the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
The Court directed the parties involved to exchange their pleadings and scheduled the next hearing for October 15. The observation came as the bench addressed the controversy that had surrounded the removal of these contempt petitions from the Court's records.
