Supreme Court Declines to Transfer Satya Niketan PG Hostel Collapse Case from Delhi HC

The Supreme Court declined to transfer the Satya Niketan PG Hostel Building Collapse case from Delhi High Court to itself. A Division Bench comprising Justices Ahsanuddin Amanullah and R. Mahadevan considered ongoing proceedings related to building safety and noted the proceedings initiated by the Delhi HC.

The Court directed all parties concerned to file comprehensive affidavits and reports regarding compliance with its earlier directions on the matter. The decision was made while taking into account submissions from the Amicus Curiae in the case.
