Supreme Court directs Calcutta HC to urgently hear TMC's billboard petition

The Supreme Court has directed the Calcutta High Court to hear an urgent petition filed by the Trinamool Congress challenging the removal of a party billboard from a building in the state.

Advocate Kapil Sibal, representing TMC, highlighted that the same building houses other establishments whose signboards remain untouched, raising questions about selective action. The court ordered the high court to take up the matter expeditiously.
